Summary

Melinda Wilkins is the residency director for the Veterinary Public Health and Preventative Medicine Residency at CAHFS as well as an associate professor and public health veterinarian at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota. In her role at CAHFS, Melinda supports the implementation of the program by assisting with the progression of VPHPM residents and determining the best experiences for the residents so that they can meet the main competencies of the residency program. She collaborates with those inside and outside the Center's administration to develop and coordinate residents' workload while also guaranteeing that all residency projects have faculty leadership and oversight. Additionally, she oversees continuous monitoring and evaluation of activities to facilitate program improvement.
