Give | The CAHFS Fund

Through building veterinary public health capacity, the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS) plays a key role in protecting people from animal diseases and food-borne illnesses.

Since its inception in 2001, CAHFS has responded to emerging animal health, public health, and food safety issues by partnering with local, national and international stakeholders to improve food safety and public health.

CAHFS works with over 20 partner countries to improve veterinary public health worldwide. As a World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) collaborating center for capacity-building, CAHFS’ mission is based in expanding the capacity of state and country veterinary services to respond to emerging diseases and supporting sustainable development at the regional level.

Working with its partners, CAHFS strives to effectively address animal and food safety issues so that people and animals live healthier lives. When you support CAHFS, you are helping to create a safe, healthy and sustainable food supply worldwide.
