Veterinary Public Health Residency Program

Veterinary Public Health Residency Program:

The Veterinary Public Health Residency Program is the first program to receive formal recognition from the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Residency Program details:

  • This is a two year program for early and mid-career veterinarians
  • Residents are hired at a 75% appointment
  • All residents are required to register in a MPH program. The Executive MPH track is recommended as it offers the broadest exposure. See http://www.php.umn.edu
  • Residents will be assigned to a variety of projects over the course of the program. This allows the residents to gain experience in the full spectrum of teaching, research, and service.

For more information on this program email Linda Valeri at valer024@umn.edu.
